490ZL Advice and recommendations relating to safety orders and temporary safety orders
(1)
This section applies if, before the commencement, a doctor or psychologist—
(a)
gave advice to the chief executive as mentioned in section 53(1) or 54(2); or
(b)
made a recommendation to the chief executive under section 55(4) or 58(5).
(2)
For applying chapter 2, part 2, division 5 in relation to a prisoner after the commencement, the advice or recommendation is taken to have been given or made by an authorised practitioner.
