Transport Infrastructure Act 1994

In preparing a corporate plan or a statement of corporate intent under the Government Owned Corporations Act 1993 or a strategic plan or operational plan under the Queensland Rail Transit Authority Act 2013, each rail government entity and each GOC port authority must take into account the transport infrastructure strategies.

A rail government entity or a GOC port authority may spend amounts on transport infrastructure other than rail transport infrastructure or port infrastructure if the spending would contribute to effectiveness and efficiency.
