439 Purposes of ch 14
The purposes of this chapter are—
(a)
to reduce risk arising from transporting dangerous goods by rail; and
(b)
to help create a substantially uniform national rail transport law about dangerous goods; and
(c)
to promote consistency between the regulation of the transport of dangerous goods by rail and by other modes of transport.
