485A External review of decisions
This section applies in relation to an original decision if QCAT is stated in schedule 3 for the decision.
If the reviewed decision is not the decision sought by the applicant for the review, the chief executive must give the applicant a QCAT information notice for the reviewed decision.
The applicant may apply, as provided under the QCAT Act, to QCAT for a review of the reviewed decision.
Note—
The QCAT Act, section 22(3) provides that QCAT may stay the operation of the reviewed decision, either on application by a person or on its own initiative.
In this section—
original decision means a decision described in schedule 3.
reviewed decision means the chief executive’s decision on a review under section 485.
