266F Appeal against imposition of penalty by penalty notice
(1)
A railway manager who is given a penalty notice may appeal to the Supreme Court against the chief executive’s decision to impose the penalty.
(2)
The Transport Planning and Coordination Act 1994, part 5, division 3 applies to an appeal mentioned in subsection (1) as if—
(a)
references in the division to a reviewed decision were references to the chief executive’s decision; and
(b)
references in the division to an appeal court or the appeal court were references to the Supreme Court.
