123AB Ways notice may be given
If a provision in this chapter requires the commissioner or a police officer to give notice to a person, the notice may be given in any of the following ways—
(a)
by delivering it to the person personally;
(b)
by leaving it at, or by sending it by post or similar facility to, the address of the place of residence or business of the person last known to the commissioner;
(c)
by sending it by electronic communication to the unique electronic address nominated by the person to a police officer.
