167 Deciding limits of crime scene
The responsible officer at a crime scene must—
(a)
identify what is the crime scene; and
(b)
decide the boundaries necessary to protect the crime scene; and
(c)
mark the limits of the crime scene in a way that sufficiently identifies it to the public as a crime scene.Example for paragraph (b)—It may be necessary to establish a buffer zone around the crime scene.
