412 When person detained may be taken to a place other than a police establishment or police station
A police officer may take a person to whom this part applies to a place other than a police establishment or police station if the police officer considers it is reasonably necessary to facilitate the purpose of the detention.
Example—A person who has been arrested and is being questioned about an indictable offence may be taken—
(a)
to the scene of the offence to identify it or re-enact the offence; or
(b)
to a doctor for medical treatment or examination.
