In force

(1)

This section applies to a sample or other thing to which the pre-amended Act, section 420(2)(b), (c) or (d) applied before the commencement.

(2)

From the commencement—

(a)

if the pre-amended Act, section 420(2)(b) or (c) applied, the sample or other thing is taken to have been taken or collected under chapter 17 of this Act; and

(b)

if the pre-amended Act, section 420(2)(d) applied, the sample is taken to have been taken under chapter 18 of this Act.
