472 Detention for taking identifying particulars
(1)
A police officer may, to give effect to an order made under section 471(2)(a) or (b)(ii), detain the person.
(2)
If the person is not already in custody, the time for which the person may be detained is—
(a)
1 hour; or
(b)
a longer reasonably necessary time, having regard to the particular circumstances.
