Duration, extension and review of crime scene warrant

(1)

A crime scene warrant stops having effect on the day fixed under the warrant or a later time fixed under subsection (2).

(2)

The issuer may, on the application of a police officer made before a crime scene warrant stops having effect, extend the warrant for a stated reasonable time of not more than 7 days.
