353N Financial assurance does not affect other penalty or charge
A financial assurance may be claimed or realised despite, and without affecting—
(a)
the liability of the offender to pay a penalty for an offence or other contravention to which the assurance relates, and
(b)
other action that might be taken or is required to be taken in relation to a contravention or other circumstances to which the assurance relates.
