1013D Minister’s and Treasurer’s power to give joint directions to bulk water supply authority
(1)
The Minister and Treasurer may give the bulk water supply authority a written joint direction if the Minister and Treasurer are satisfied it is necessary to give the direction—
(a)
to give effect to this Act; or
(b)
to facilitate water industry reform in the State; or
(c)
to ensure a financially viable water industry in the State.
(2)
The bulk water supply authority must comply with the direction.
(3)
The Minister must gazette a copy of the direction within 21 days after it is given.
