655 Special procedures for draft performance plan
The Minister may return the draft performance plan to the water authority and request it to—
consider, or further consider, any matter and deal with the matter in the draft plan; and
revise the draft plan in the light of its consideration or further consideration.
The authority must immediately comply with the request.
If a draft performance plan has not been agreed to by the Minister before the start of the financial year, the Minister may, by notice, direct the authority—
to take specified steps in relation to the draft plan; or
to make specified modifications to the draft plan.
The authority must immediately comply with a direction under subsection (3).
The Minister must cause a copy of a direction to be published in the gazette within 15 business days after it is given.
