1233 First manager of the office
This section applies to the person who, immediately before the commencement, held office as the commission’s General Manager, Coal Seam Gas Water (the old office).
On the commencement—
the old office ends; and
the person is taken to have been appointed as the manager of the office.
The person holds the office of manager for a term of 5 years from when the person was most recently appointed to the old office.
The person’s conditions of employment for the office of manager are the conditions of employment for the old office immediately before the commencement.
Subsection (4) applies subject to subsection (3) and any necessary changes from the old office to the office of manager.
Subject to subsections (3) to (5), chapter 3A, part 1, division 4, subdivision 1 applies to the person for the person’s holding of the office of manager.
In this section—commencement means the commencement of the amending Act, section 42.conditions of employment includes allowances for variations to remuneration.
