General authorisations to take water

In force

A person may do any of the following—

(a)

take water for a public purpose in an emergency situation;

(b)

take water for fighting a fire;

(c)

take water for undertaking routine testing of fire fighting equipment;

(d)

take water from a watercourse, lake or spring for camping purposes;

(e)

take water from a watercourse, lake or spring for watering travelling stock.
