986I Water plan to identify particular changes
This section applies if—
a change mentioned in section 986A(1)(b) is made; and
the change is—
to address a risk mentioned in the national water initiative agreement, clause 49; or
for the environmental update purpose.
The water plan must identify the change.
In this section—national water initiative agreement means the Intergovernmental Agreement on a National Water Initiative between the Commonwealth and the governments of New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, the Australian Capital Territory and the Northern Territory made on 25 June 2004.
