References generally In any document, a reference to the Minister for the Environment is to be construed as a reference to the Minister for Climate Change, Environment and Water or to the Minister Assisting the Minister for Climate Change, Environment and Water (Environment), except as provided by subclause (2).

References in relation to water sharing plans etc A reference in section 7 (2), 13 (1) (g), 41 (2), 43 (3), 45 (3), 50 (3) or 75 (2) of the Water Management Act 2000 to the Minister for the Environment is to be construed as a reference to the Minister for Primary Industries.
