Administrative Changes Orders 1977–2023

The persons employed in the Regions, Industry, Agriculture and Resources Group in the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment are transferred to Regional NSW.

In any document—

a reference to the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment is to be construed as a reference to Regional NSW if—

the reference is used in relation to a part of that Department referred to in subclause (1), or

the reference is used in or in relation to legislation administered by the Deputy Premier, Minister for Regional New South Wales, Industry and Trade or the Minister for Agriculture and Western New South Wales, and

a reference to the Secretary of the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment is to be construed as a reference to the Secretary of Regional NSW if—

the reference is used in relation to a part of that Department referred to in subclause (1), or

the reference is used in or in relation to legislation administered by the Deputy Premier, Minister for Regional New South Wales, Industry and Trade or the Minister for Agriculture and Western New South Wales.

Subclause (2)(a)(ii) and (b)(ii) do not apply to the following provisions—

section 220W(3)(a) of the Fisheries Management Act 1994,

section 60K(5) of the Local Land Services Act 2013,

section 7(2)(d) of the Marine Estate Management Act 2014,

sections 50 and 51 of the Petroleum (Onshore) Act 1991.

Subclause (2)(a)(ii) and (b)(ii) do not affect the operation of clauses 12(3) and 13(3) of the Administrative Arrangements (Administrative Changes—Public Service Agencies) Order 2019.
