4-oc.39 4 Construction of certain references to Department of Community Services and Director-General of that Department
(1)
In any document, a reference to the Department of Community Services is to be construed as a reference to the Office of Juvenile Justice, if the reference is used in or in relation to the Children (Detention Centres) Act 1987, the Children (Community Service Orders) Act 1987 or the Children (Interstate Transfer of Offenders) Act 1988.
(2)
In any document, a reference to the Director-General of the Department of Community Services is to be construed as a reference to the Director of the Office of Juvenile Justice, if the reference is used in or in relation to an Act referred to in subclause (1).
