5-oc.43 5 Abolition of Environment Protection Authority (as a Department) and transfer of branches
(1)
All branches are removed from the Environment Protection Authority and added to the Department of Environment and Conservation.
(2)
The group of staff attached to the Environment Protection Authority are abolished as a Department of the Public Service.
(3)
A reference in any document to the Director-General of the Environment Protection Authority, including in the definition of Director-General in section 3 (1) of the Protection of the Environment Administration Act 1991, is to be construed as a reference to the Director-General of the Department of Environment and Conservation.
